A&R Tarpaulins Inc., parent Company of AR Tech, was established in 1976 as a designer and manufacturer of unique fabric products for truckers and general industry. From its inception, A&R became a leader, not only in serving the industry, but also in providing the highest quality industrial and engineered fabric products to aerospace, government, architects and contractors. A & R's commitment to high quality fabric solutions is exemplified by a long history of satisfied clients, solidified by over two decades of achievement awards, and backed by our ISO 9001:2000 International Quality Registration.

A&R's design, engineering, manufacturing and installation process creates relationships that are partnership networks ensuring that A&R meets all of our customer’s individual requirements.

In the early 1980's A&R began producing technical fabric products and components to meet the requirements of the large aerospace companies in the Southern California area. As the company pursued these markets, A&R created a division, AR Tech, to more effectively approach existing and potential clients. From that time to the present, AR Tech’s clients have included McDonnell Douglas, Rockwell, and Rocketdyne as well as, TRW, Northrop, Lockheed, General Dynamics and Martin Marietta. Our relationship with these aerospace companies continues with their successors, The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

AR Tech continued to pursue opportunities for technical products with aerospace and other companies requiring special approaches which can be addressed through fabric solutions.
