We were commissioned by the building
contractor, Design Space Modular Buildings Inc.
and through them the State of California’s Department
of Motor Vehicles, to provide a shade canopy for
truck drivers as they awaited their field test for
their class A licenses. The design plans called
for us to utilize existing bollards as lower support
posts. We had to configure a multi-pronged attachment
that was welded to the outer steel walls of the
bollards as well as the short upper support posts.
